The investiture
Nous longerons the grille du parc,
A l'heure où la Grande Ourse decline ;
And you will bear - as I do -
Among the bands of your hair
The flower called Asphodel.
Your eyes look my eyes
a time when the Great Bear declines. -
And my eyes have color
From the flower called Asphodel.
Your eyes watch me,
waver And your whole being,
Like the mythical rock
teetered dit-on au toucher
De la fleur nommée Asphodèle.
will follow through the gates of the park
and bring-you-because I want
between Hair bands
the flower called Asphodel
Your eyes look at my eyes when
Ursa Major declines
and my eyes have the color
of the flower called Asphodel
your eyes look at my eyes
your whole being shaken
waver as they say
the legendary rock at the touch of
flower called Asphodel

Asphodel
Asphodelus L., 1753 is a genus of plants family Asphodelaceae including several grass species, known generically as vulgar asphodel. The name derives from the greek ἀσφόδελος (asphódelos).
love the daffodils are invasive in sunny meadows and land subject to overgrazing because their pointed leaves are spared from livestock.
The leaves of asphodel is in the form of a rosette of large leaves radical, narrow and linear, with the pointed end.
From the center of the rosette shows a naked stem bearing a spike of flowers more or less branched depending on the species. The ear is generally a meter or more. The flowers begin
to bloom from the bottom. They have six tepals (ie there is no visible distinction between petals and sepals, which have the same shape and same color). In most species, the tepals are white with a dark stripe in the middle.
Flower Asphodelus albus fruits are round capsules.
The natural distribution of asphodel has a main center around the Mediterranean basin (southern Europe and northern Africa including the Canary Islands), also extends into Asia to China.
The asphodel was also overgrown in some parts of North America.
For Homer (Odyssey XI, 487-491, 539, 573) asphodel is the plant of the Underworld. For the ancient Greeks, the Kingdom of the Dead was divided into three parts: the Tartarus for the wicked, the Champs Elysees for the good, and finally the meadows of asphodel to those who in life had been neither good nor bad. For all these beliefs, and others, the Greeks used to plant daffodils on the graves, considering the fields of daffodils on the grave. A random sample may not have the in-Chief Miseno.
This plant is mentioned in the 1st book in the Harry Potter. The asphodel powder poured into an infusion of wormwood in the novel gives rise to a soporific potion so powerful to go under the name of "distillate of the living dead.
The name of this plant, in the plural (daffodils, in trans. Scalero Italian Alessandra), is cited in the first chapter of the English writer Virginia Woolf's Orlando.
the daffodils are mentioned in the poem The melodious strains of D'Annunzio and, under the name asfodilli courtly, in his novel The pleasure.
The daffodils are cited at the end of the film by Roland Joffé's Vatel.
The daffodils are mentioned because of the dead flowers, in the etheric of Giovanni Pascoli (Poems of Ate).
Asfolide is also mentioned by Oscar Wilde in "The Portrait of Dorian Gray"
