Anyone who knows me knows how much I love them, try the combinations right for each plate, and try as soon as I find new evidence now also be cultivated.
What I'm talking about?? of SPICES ... I love them, love them, love them!
I love the scent with which flood my balconies and gardens where they grow, the pleasant smell that issue while I cook, I love the flavor that makes every dish in particular where there are ranges of taste and I love that release, from spicy to sweet, pungent enveloping ...
I can not wait for it till my spring planting oregano, marjoram, mallow, melissa, mint, sage and rosemary (which lie at the shelter), thyme, parsley and chives and I also see the ' now that my seeds germinate chilli.
For the moment I'm happy to use everything I've annoyed at the end of last summer and what I buy.
Everyone has a way to use the spices there are those who use it a lot and who almost anything.
I've made mix of dried herbs and spices, which have various uses:
my mix for fish is made with lemon thyme, oregano and garlic slices dried at
one for the meat with thyme, rosemary, sage and marjoram
that for some jams and some sweets that I often do, like strudel apples, is composed of cinnamon and cloves.
Today I'd like to give you a super tasty and super spicy recipe that might not appeal to everyone, but I think unique ... I do not know how long more I can, but believe me when I say used with baked potatoes or burgers is the best spice. Ok then proceed
THE KETCHUP CONGRAZIA done ... ...
The ingredients we need are
5 large onions 3 pounds of fresh tomatoes (or 2 bottles of tomato paste)
2 tablespoons fennel seeds 1 teaspoon
cumin seeds 4 cloves
two beautiful bunches of basil 4 cloves of garlic
a ginger root
2 chillies (and if you feel like it spicy mettetene also 4 / 5 )
a bunch of fresh coriander
200 grams of sugar (preferably if full)
250 ml of red wine vinegar salt
The nice thing about this recipe is that the process is very simple, you have to peel the vegetables and put it in cold and in chunks in a large pot.
Cook over medium heat until the absorption of the liquid that forms, smoothies and hot-potted in this way will keep for a long time. Once opened, store it in the fridge for a couple of weeks.
Done !!!!!
You will have a delicious homemade ketchup and spicy fragrance to amaze your taste buds (and those of your guests!)
As always, I hope I have encouraged to try and take this opportunity to make one thousand wishes for this New Year!
